Due to our recent expansion, we currently have a full-time position open for a  Quality Manager in our beautiful New Hampshire Seacoast facility. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

Specific Description
Very strong technical discipline in the calibration of Electronic Test Equipment. Oversees and performs a wide variety of metrology and repair related tasks, including calibration, inspection, repair and certification of Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment. Applies knowledge of engineering principles and scientific methods (e.g. optical, thermal, force, dimensional, mechanical, etc.) to certify and calibrate tools and equipment for conformance with specifications. Writes and edits metrology calibration procedures and processes, performs outside vendor audits, interfaces with vendors to verify quality levels are being maintained. Performs stability, trend and error analysis on measuring and test equipment, and determines tool certification interval analysis. Must be able to maintain traceability of measurement standards to NIST. Maintains certification records and recall system. Determines and requests support services; modifies or recommends modifications to equipment techniques to improve calibration processes. Completes required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment. Must be familiar with ISO, ANSI, and MIL certification requirements.

General Position Description
Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electronic test and measuring instruments to conform to set standards. Assists in the setup of established calibration methods and procedures according to detailed blueprints, drawings, and instructions. May disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of electronic test equipment. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Must be familiar with standard calibration procedures.

Strong prior work experience within industry metrology lab is a requirement. Experience working with metrology recall systems, procedures, processes, Out of Tolerance Notifications, outside vendor audits and surveys, familiar with ISO, ANSI, and MIL metrology certification requirements.

Typical Minimum Education Required
High School diploma with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Bachelors degree, Associate degree, PMEL and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.

Typical Minimum Experience Required
10 years or more
